Whether you enjoy organizing behind the scenes, welcoming guests, or helping everything come together, there are many ways to contribute. Experience isn't required for every role.

Before the Event

Help with preparation, outreach, coordination, and the many details that make an event possible.

During the Event

Welcome attendees, assist authors and guests, support activities, and help create an inviting experience for everyone.

After the Event

Help with breakdown, cleanup, follow-up, and the work that brings each event to a thoughtful close.

Our inaugural Prismatic Words celebration in 2027 is just one opportunity to get involved. We're also beginning to build a community of volunteers who may want to support future EmberWake events.

You can express interest in Prismatic Words, future opportunities, or both. There is no expectation of an ongoing commitment, and we'll discuss individual opportunities before asking you to participate.

All EmberWake events are currently planned for the San Antonio, Texas area, and we expect this to remain the case for the foreseeable future.
